On March 21, 2025, the grand opening ceremony of the LESSO Tanzania Production Base was held. The production base specializes in manufacturing plastic pipes, covering PVC-U water pipes, PVC-U drainage pipes, PVC electrical conduits, PP-R water pipes, PE water pipes and other fields. The production adheres to local and international standards.

To achieve excellent quality, the company is equipped with modern pipe extrusion machines and laboratory facilities for chemical testing and physical property testing. The products span multiple fields such as building water supply and drainage, municipal pipelines, and agricultural irrigation. With an annual production capacity of around 30,000 tons, it can fully meet the market demands of Tanzania and its neighboring countries.

During the event, Mr. Chu Kun, the Chargé d'affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Tanzania, Mr. Gilead Teri, the Director of the Tanzania Investment Centre, Mr. Jumaa H. Aweso, the Minister of Water of Tanzania, Dr. Selemani Saidi Jafo, the Minister of Industry and Trade, and Liu Bangxu, the Sales Director of LESSO Group's African region, delivered speeches respectively.
